Noureen DeWulf

Noureen DeWulf (nee Ahmed) is an American actress from the United States. Her most memorable roles include in Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009) and West Bank Story (2006). She also starred as Lacey in the sitcom Anger Management (2012-2014). DeWulf was born Noureen Ahmed in New York City to Gujarati Indian parents who were from Pune, Maharashtra, India and was raised in Stone Mountain, Georgia. She was educated as a Nizari Ismaili Muslim. She is the sibling of two. Aziza is her older sister is a professor in Boston of law at Northeastern University. Sara Her younger sister, is a San Francisco lawyer. DeWulf has studied theatre and international relations at Boston University's School for the Arts. She relocated to Los Angeles after graduating to pursue acting as a profession. She is fluent in Hindi, Urdu, and Gujarati. DeWulf started her acting career with the Oscar Award-winning short film West Bank Story, where she played the lead role of Fatima the singing and dancing Palestinian cashier who finds love with an Israeli soldier. Since then she has been seen in comedic TV films and series. From 2009 to 2011, she played recurring roles on the NBC show Outsourced and TNT's Hawthorne and MTV's The Hard Times of RJ Berger, and appeared in the Lifetime miniseries Maneater.DeWulf was featured in numerous box-office hit films like Ocean's Thirteen (2007), and The Back-up Plan (2010). She co-starred with Matthew McConaughey as the romantic comedy Ghosts of Girlfriends Past (2009). She also appeared opposite Jeremy Piven on The Goods: Sell Hard, Live Hard (2009). The Taqwacores (2010) was her first film. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival 2010. She also appeared in the film The Taqwacores (2010) which debuted at Sundance Film Festival 2010.
