Sofia Margarita Vergara, Spanish was born on 10 July 1972. She is an actress presenter, producer, model and TV presenter from Colombia. Vergara was America's highest paid actress from 2013 until 2020. Vergara gained prominence hosting two Spanish-language television programs for Univision in the latter half of the 1990s. Chasing Papi (2003) was her first role in a major role in English.
