Angeles, California in 1970. Her parents relocated to Dallas soon after she was
born. She was graduated from Booker T. Washington High School for the
Performing and Visual Arts located in the Arts District of downtown Dallas. She
earned her BFA in acting at Stephens College, and also attended the British
American Drama Academy. Additionally, she spent six years at the well-known
Dallas Theatre Center and one year at the theatre's Encore Company. Prior to
her big screen debut she started her acting career in the theater. Her credits
on stage include "As You Like It" as well as the "A Funny Thing
Happened on the Way To the Forum" and the "Measure for Measure",
the "Baby" and the "Chicago" productions, among others. Her
most memorable performance came in Michael Cristofer's HBO telefilm Gia (1998)
featuring Angelina Jolie. She made her name famous for both viewers and critics.
Elizabeth's charismatic performance skills were evident in the science-fiction
action film Frequency (2000) and in the cast of Dennis Quaid and Neil LaBute.
Elizabeth Mitchell is an actor who has a long list of credits, including
movies, TV shows, and theaters. The actress broke her nose during the filming
of the movie Frequency (2000). In 1994, she filmed a Hertz Rent-A-Car
commercial but "they pulled it because of the O.J. thing." In 1995,
lived with her boyfriend David Lee Smith (ex-Brent on the soap One Life to Live
(1968)) in Manhattan's Upper West Side. They live in Dallas with their parents
who are tax and real estate lawyers. After playing the character of Rosalind in
"As You Like It" for a few years, Rosalind returned to the U.S.
Shortly after she was born in LA in 1970, her parents relocated to Dallas,
Texas. She graduated in 1991 from Booker T. Washington High School which is a
school for Visual and Performing Arts, located in the Arts District of Dallas.
In 1991, she graduated from Stephens College with a Fine Arts degree. Starred
in Man and Boy (2002) together with Ioan Gruffudd. The show aired on BBC 1 TV
in March 2002.
