Renee Kathleen Zellweger
Renee Kathleen Zellweger is a daughter
of Kjellfrid Andreassen, a former midwife as well as a nurse in Norway. Her
birth date was April 25 the year 1969 in Katy. Her father, Emil Erich
Zellweger, is an engineer from Switzerland. The couple got married in the year
1963. Drew Zellweger is Renee's brother and was born February 15, 1967. As a
member of the drama group, Renee became interested in acting. She attended an
acting class at the University of Texas (Austin) and began to think about
acting as a profession. She was determined to perform after she graduated, but
Hollywood can be hard to make it into. Renee decided not to leave Texas and
went to audition at Houston to be cast in roles. Matthew McConaughey (another
Hollywood rising star) was her close friend when she was filming of Texas
Chainsaw Massacre II: The Next Generation (1994). Renee observed him on a
project that was of interest to her. She was a part-time auditioner and got the
part in Love and A.45 (1994). The film received enough praise from critics that
she decided to relocate to Los Angeles. She was then offered a role in The
Whole Wide World (1996), which gave her her first big break. Cameron Crowe was
busy casting his next film The Whole Wide World, Jerry Maguire (1996),starring
Tom Cruise. Crowe was watching actresses such as Bridget Fonda and Marisa Tomei
when the performance of Zellweger on The Whole Wide World (1996). He attended
an audition with Zellweger and was certain he had discovered the perfect
Dorothy Boyd. Renee was able to continue her huge success with small
independent films. She received further praise from critics, and was certain
that she would be capable of re-entering big-budget Hollywood films. She was in
the film alongside Meryl Streep in the tearjerker One True Thing (1998). She
also played a part in Me, Myself & Irene (2000) in which she starred
alongside Jim Carrey, and soon after that, she started dating Jim Carrey. In
the role of the title character in Bridget Jones's Diary (2001).
