Ayelet Zurer
Ayelet Zurer one of Israel's most
well-known actresses is a special lady. She was born in Tel Aviv and was first
recognized by Hollywood when Steven Spielberg cast her in her first role in
English as Eric Bana’s wife in Munich (2005). Zurer has appeared in several
Studio films since arriving in America, including Sony Pictures' Vantage Point
featuring William Hurt and Dennis Quaid, Samuel Goldwyn's Fugitive Parts
opposite Stephen Dillane, Paul Schrader’s Adam Resurrected opposite Jeff
Goldblum, and Willem Dafoe. Ron Howard's Angeles and Demons is opposite Tom
Hanks. Darling companion Lawrence Kasdan's film with Diane Keaton and Kevin
Kline, and Warner Bros. Man Of Steel in which she is opposite Russell Crow, is
Ron Howard. Ewan McGregor was her co-filming partner in Rodrigo Garcia's The
Last Days in Desert. Also, she waited for The Last Knights to be released by
Kazuaki Kriya, the Japanese director. For her role as Hostages the lead
actress, she won the Gold Nymph Award at the 54th Festival of Television of
Monte-Carlo. Ayelet was nominated for the Israeli Film and Television Academy
Award for her work in Nina's Tragedies. She also received nominations for her
work in the feature films Only Dogs Run Free, The Dybbuk from the Holy Apple
Field, Desperado, and Rutenberg. Zurer was the winner of the Haifa
International Film Festival critic award and also received a star on Haifa's
"film boulevard" for her international and local achievements. Zurer
also took home the Israeli Television Academy Award for her role as the lead
actress in "In Treatment,"" which is a highly-acclaimed
television series that has been adapting by HBO for American television. 2014
saw her being nominated for an apposite for the best show of 2014
"Shtisel". The actress was also awarded the best actress award in
drama for playing an outstanding surgeon facing a life or death choice in
Hostages. The show was telecast to BBC4 and Canal Plus as well as the American
ABC. Golbary is among Israel's leading fashion brands for women. It's the "face"
of Golbary. Ayelet is a producer and writer. Ayelet is working on several
projects in Israel and the United States. She has expressed an her interest in
collaborations with international directors from around the world since she
believes in joining with unknown directors and writers.
